Marvel as your main character stands utterly motionless, ignoring your frantic commands, for no apparent reason, while his whole squad gets slaughtered. If you like your characters getting stuck on things, then you’re really in for a treat. Like corners, and doors, and plain, wide open spaces with no obstacles whatsoever. Oh, and let’s talk about people getting stuck on things. There are these buttons at the bottom of the screen that are supposed to fix AI behaviour in a certain pattern (Attack, support, ranged, etc…) but as soon as you move on to the next character it defaults back to attack. Your party members no longer even pretend to respond to commands (previously your party members would at least accomplish some of the actions you had lined up for them before defaulting to attacking the furthest enemy on the map and getting you all killed). Here, however they have apparently taken the approach of solving the problem by removing the AI completely. In the original, it was somewhat manageable. It was well known at the time that KOTOR had some issues with your party going rogue and getting themselves, and by extention you, killed.
